El Lang is a multidisciplinary artist, producer, and educator born and raised in New York City. They make quilts using found materials, often including articles of clothing that hold memory and meaning. Quilts are sites for them to experiment and process change. A focus on process and materials connect them more deeply to their body and environment, inviting viewers to also find beauty in transformation and the unseen.
